Much has been said about Proton during the last decade. Sometimes Malaysians may be found in their defence, from time to time they’ve got nothing but the worst things to mention about the company. Each of our stance has always been to see their products. After all, even just a company with a sparkly reputation can produce items that are irrelevant as well as compromised.

So with that thought, we take a jump into Proton’s latest solution C the Ertiga. Right off the bat, the whole analogy has to visit an abrupt end. Because this product is a Suzuki. It is engineered by Suzuki. Created by Suzuki. Tested by Suzuki. Proton’s effort is pretty minimal. Installed it together, yet even that’s finished under Suzuki’s exact specifications.

The result is a Proton that drives and feels like a Suzuki. The interior will be clean and pleasant as well as nice to be in. The lining parts feel like they’re going to last the life with the car. The layout is not hard and effective. There’s no filler. It’s pure performance and it’s absolutely beautiful.

But of course, we can’t just simply give it two thumbs right up for being very Nippon and end the idea there. There are genuine concerns about the Ertiga. For starters, the name. It is really admittedly a little strange. Is certainly ‘Tiga’ a part of the name’s ‘Erti’? We don’t realize. We doubt Proton or even Suzuki know.
