We have done our investigation and realized that with Malaysia you cannot buy a 2-wheel push double cab pick up truck with an automatic gearbox out of an established brand.
A peek at the 7 biggest pickup truck brands inside Malaysia, Toyota, Isuzu, Ford, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Chevrolet and Nissan will reveal a wide range of products but there are NO 2-wheel travel, double cab, automatic driven pickup trucks to purchase.
You can however if you purchase one in Thailand and Philippines, but not in Malaysia. WHY?
With the prices of pickup trucks being very favorable for the car new buyer in relation to much lower significance taxes, it makes good sense to buy a truck or van, but the Malaysian family or even the average lifestyle pickup truck buyer does not need a weighty and expensive 44 method that comes with the vehicle.
Also with the family buyer who uses the truck inside the city, having an semi-automatic or fully automatic gearbox would be great.
So what do we need to do to get a new pickup truck by having an automatic gearbox, two times cab for the family to receive comfortable and an auto gearbox for essential city commuting around comfort?
