Lukoil Craft-Bamboo Racing scored the hard-fought double podium while in round two of the TCR Foreign Series competition around Bahrain that allowed them to consider the overall lead while in the teams’ championship. Hugo Valente was he of the weekend, choosing podiums in both races in his first time at the Sakhir Rounds.
A strong qualifying session allowed the Frenchman to begin P2 in race just one where he would travel a faultless time to claim second location. Pepe Oriola had a challenging saturday and sunday in Bahrain, the two-time champ did a fantastic job to address back from P12 around the grid and finish P6 throughout race one and also P7 in race not one but two.
